Great shots capturing its beauty

I fell in love when I first saw it when it was introduced, however quickly lost interest upon learning its sheer size (nearly 50mm)!
I personally think they made a wrong attempt of this pocketwatch/wristwatch hybrid novelty by giving more credence to the pocketwatch-side. People nowadays are wearing wristwatches way more often than a pocketwatch (actually I can not remember when I last saw anyone wearing a pocketwatch). Plus if going by that dial design it will have to be a dress watch - meaning 41/42mm should be the maximum (personal preference is 39mm).
Let's just say, it would have been a fun hybrid watch at 41mm and the owner could really dress up one day and wear it as a pocketwatch - no one would scoff at a 41mm pocketwatch. But to wear a 49mm wristwatch in a suit.........
Shame. Or I guess, great news for me, as I have one less watch on my want list...

A tad big, but with these short lugs, you still can wear it on a 7''' wrist. A pocket watch.... And a wrist watch at the same time. Marvelous... Best, Nicolas ...

Nice piece and one I didn't know till now.

Looks like a porcelain dial, perhaps. Whatever, it is a looker. What year is this one from? Thanks for posting these fine photos! M4
