The Chopard LUC Sport 2000 enjoying some wrist time again

Dec 28, 2018,23:42 PM

I just checked and it’s been over 2,5 years since I got it. Both Chopard watches we had at the time were at spa, and I was itching for a new watch (here:  www.watchprosite.com  for my review from back in the day). It won against a Tudor or two and while it doesn’t get as much wrist time as the LUC Chrono One, it’s a pleasure to wear every single time.

The combination of a sports watch (screw down crown, 100m WR) with such an elaborate dial and an in-house micro rotor movement is rare (sans micro rotor the Breguet Marine is probably closest).

And blue is the colour of watch love, right? 😉

Since I exchanged the original rubber strap with this blue calf one, it’s also much easier to wear in non-sporty settings 👍🏻

A very nice Chopard my friend , its sure has something special when you look at the dail .

It does have something about it, especially on the wrist. And blue is always an added bonus 🔵😊

A bracelet option does exist, AFAIK 🤷🏻‍♂️

Not something I am generally into but I have seen several advertised for sale on a bracelet...

I see 😊

Cannot say for sure. I guess the line was limited to 2.000 pieces but why they didn’t follow it up with another one... 🤷🏻‍♂️

Great watch!

Never saw the blue-dialed model before! (Knew white or black dial model only.)

Have only seen the silver and Blue dial versions live myself 😊
