An elegant aspect of Royal Oak

Jun 19, 2022,14:19 PM

I used to have a 36mm RO but I had to let it go since it didn’t sit properly on my 14.5cm wrist (yeah super skinny).

Still I kept hunting for a RO which will fit my wrist and my dressing style (suits most of the time).

So I found this 30mm automatic RO from a retailer in Japan. I decided to pull the trigger without seeing it in person (pure guts).

And I have to say it fits perfectly on my wrist. Yes it might be small for a RO but over the years I learnt that proportion matters most. Yes it IS a lady RO but I believed I have enough experience in watches not to care what others may think about that.

And to my surprise, I never though a RO could be elegant. It is a dream to wear. So comfortable and snug nicely!

I’m a happy owner of a lady RO and will be wearing it often, with pride.

Looks like a perfect fit on your wrist. Like you, I am keen on size. Personally, if a watch doesn’t fit properly, I move on

Personally, I think it looks great…

Very good choice and glad that you are happy with this AP. It is a good size for you and looks great. Just to add, Japan is a paradise for watches: new, used, discontinued, antique, etc. In my experience, they are all here being sold by helpful, trustwort...
