If AP replaces caliber 2121, the new 15202 is „dead“ ...
... it is also this original RO caliber 2121, which makes the 15202 so special. The caliber of the PP5711 is boring compared to that.
But I can’t imagine that AP would do such a drastic mistake.
So the 15202 st will be discontinued next year
And a new reference will substitute it
Not surprised. In fact, this goes back many years.
I have posted it numerous times, AP plans out 5-10 years in advance. Long live the reference... ...

Not sure why everyone is acting like this was a shocking development today. 50th anniversary of the Royal oak is in 2022! AP has a ton up their sleeve I'm sure..
Oh they did? All the more reason for AP to step up. But I still find it very interesting that PP discontinued 5711 first. This gives PP a longer runway to come up with a succesor while AP only has 6-8mos to introduce it..
...hopefully AP had a two hand calibre they were toying around with.
