Jaeger Chronograph 13001 Aka 4 ATM.

Why 4 ATM? Because it is water resistant to 4 ATM ( 40 meters ).

I like this vintage chronograph from the early 70's a lot.

A big case ( 40 mm ), much bigger than the contemporary Rolex Daytona which was 37 mm big ( ! ), a charming dial here with a twist ( made in France ), Valjoux 72 movement ( same than in the Daytona ), and this special bezel with anti clockwise hours.

Aaah, and the condition! Look at these bevels on the lugs, the almost flawless dial... This watch is a king of cool!

Best,

Nicolas

The bezel with reverse ordering of numbers is interesting. Thanks for posting. M4

This is a true gem. It reflects perfectly this great period of watchmaking

Did not know that Jaeger used third-party-movements.

Thank you, my friend!
