Three Jaeger Lecoultre Geophysic E 168 I recently saw: From the not so bad to the excellent.
One was recently auctioned ( Antiquorum ). Not so bad, but the dial is let's say tired. The hands are correct, as Dauphine hands existed for this model, but the dots on the glass keeper are not here anymore.
Now, the Good: Everything is here, the dial is in good condition. The dots around the glass keeper are there each five minutes, as it should be. At the exception of the sticker on the case back, but most of the Geophysic lost it.
And now, the Excellent: Everything is here, in top condition:
There is something between the Geophysic and me. There were only a bit more than 1300 made, but I could see quite a lot during all these years, not far from 100 all metals and dial variations included. The only two I could not see in the metal ,yet, are the Deluxe ref 2985, and the E 169, which is a Geophysic in gold with a gold bracelet.
