Richard Mille has just received the French Légion d'Honneur, a true tribute from his home country to his career and the unbelievable success of the brand he founded close to 20 years ago. We may be surprised by this award but when we think about it, it is logic. In a way, he has contributed a lot to the positive image of France in the world even if his brand is based in Switzerland. He is a French businessman, he demonstrates that success can be achieved if risks are taken based on innovative ideas and he is still investing in the South of France. And let's not forget that Richard Mille, the brand, supports events like the Concours d'Elegance of Chantilly or Le Mans Classic. Thanks to the prestige of the brand, these events get a more global exposure what is also positive for France.
