Looking for 30mm Longines high domed diver crystal

Jul 23, 2011,08:41 AM

Hello,

Thanks again to everyone who helped me identify my watch as a Longines Scuba Diver (Nautilus T-910 watch. I'm looking for a replacement Longines crystal for the watch, NOS, if possible.  The current acrylic crystal on the watch is badly scratched and needs to be replaced. Its round crystal and appears to measure 30mm and is called_-I think__ a high domed crystal (The case measures 40mm across if that matters.) Can anyone suggest a source for this diver crystal?  Below is the link in which the watch appears in an old advertisement. And I have uploaded a couple of pics as well. Thanks in advance. Peace, Michael  (If this is not the right place for this question, please advise.)

This is one of the most beautiful vintage divers watches, produced by Longines and I hope you can restore it and post the picture in this forum, soon. Since Swatch owns Longinnes now, why not ask them about the acrylic plexi. Very likely, they may be able...

I would have your watchmaker contact Longines...

It should be no problem to get a crystal that fits, there are several suppliers, but you will want to get an original one if possible. That is a very desirable watch you have there. We will want to see more pictures after you have spruced it up ASAP. Don
