BOD (Brotherhood of Discus)
Jan 29, 2008,10:29 AM
Well since a lot has been written about the Discus, I won't write no more and just present you with these pictures.
One thing that has to be noted is that after I bought the Discus an unusual phenomena has happened to me: I passed on Calabrese and Schaeur that were parading right in front of my eyes. I know that it's a sin for me not to buy what's intended for me to possess, but my rational mind was unable to find a single rational thread of why I need to pay 10-20 times more of Discus to get the same level of pleasure.
Of course, in the near future, I might bang my head on the wall, and cry myself to sleep. This incident will be told as one of those "things that got away" stories. But hopefully time and the Discus might help me heal the pain.

The concave dial. LE 100 pieces. Less than US$700. My photo skill doesn't do justice to the actual piece. You've got to see it first hand to appreciate its beauty. Maybe somebody with a big camera in Singapore (ehem ehem ) might be kind enough to take an appropriate pictures of this beauty when the time comes.

I've only been away for 6 weeks and in that time quite a few of the members have been afflicted. I've yet to see one - but I'm sure Bill will oblige.
Wow! Hot Bods!

I used a basic point and shoot camera with no macro lens. I just resisting the urge to buy a good camera, cause i won't take it for travelling (too bulky) and only use it to take pictures of my watches. So another accessory for the watch? I better use the...
