About how so many people are afraid of their watches these days. Perhaps it is due to the "flipping culture" or seeing watches as an "investment" but the aversion to living with your watches is a head scratcher to me. How many dive watches never see a drop of water? Or even worse, how many never get the plastic peeled off (or new plastic added)!
To me, watches are meant to worn and enjoyed. They will get scratched and dinged. And that's okay, because it means they have lived and built memories. They have fulfilled their purpose.
I understand that some people see each ding as a something that devalues their watch but, to me, a watch that sits in a safe is truly worthless.
Here's to the crazy ones; Here's to wearing your watches. Here's to living life!
So does anyone else live their life with their watches as opposed to living your life around your watches? Let's see some watches being worn!
Wear your watches in the best of health, friends.
