I am interested in why homage was nominated for the "Challenge" category at the upcoming GPHG. Why other manufacturers of homages have not been awarded this privilege before. Are Pagani products worse? Quality? By name? Or by the fact that the wrong product is copied? Like, a watch based on the case of Taubert & Fils is good, but a watch based on the design of G. Genta is bad..?

Why not just buy a Cartier Crash?
I guess a direct copy is in terrible taste, while designing your own watch, even though it have prior influences, is the way to find your own brand identity.
