Here's the Longines original inspiration from 1938

If I recall correctly from the discussion about the sector dial on my Habring² Erwin TZ21, for sector dials the hour hand is supposed to reach the edge of the inner ring without going over (to aid in at-a-glance reading).

Pretty faithful reissue.

of one vintage brand, vintage Longines offered it all. I could easily own 6 killer vintage Longines and never look back.

Very nice Longines.

Longines also kind of “copied” the UN white enamel monopusher chrono.

Yup, long lost cousins....

honestly I really not into brands that are kind of "lazy" in their design department, who just simply taking cues from others. Of course I don't know who's first to come up with the design. ...

That’s cool and nice to know 👍🏻

That means they are the originator.

Longines are at least one of them

Many different companies made sector dial watches back in the 1930s and 40s including Patek, Omega, Movado, Tissot, Rolex and a lot of others.

Occluded numbers are the worst

If you can't place a full 6 you should replace it with a half marker instead. Otherwise, a very nice watch if a bit overpriced. ...

Agreed.

And the seconds subdial dips far enough below the inner chapter ring that omitting the truncated "6" would have been fine aesthetically, especially with a short hour marker a la 1, 2, 4, 5, etc. (but shorter). A slightly shorter hour hand, with a slight g...

I agree! I’d be opening my watch and scraping off the 6

While snipping the tip of the hour hand. I don’t care about the Longines logo though. Cazalea
