Another marvel of a vintage Chronograph: Eberhard Cal 16000 ( Valjoux 65 ).

40 mm case, which was big for that era ( circa 1940 ). Big, beautiful and full of charm. 


Here it is: 









The patina is homogeneous, the condition of the case and movement is awesome. 

The olive pushers are the cherry on the cake. As well as the crown. 

Not mine, alas.

You could very well be right on that point. I thought they were a truly independent manufacturer, unaffiliated with . . .

. . . any of the conglomerates. Kinda like Minerva was until they were acquired by Montblanc. There are many small independent operators, but only a few independent movement manufacturers. I assumed Eberhard was in that elite company. Perhaps not. Art
