For six years now, the longest I’ve ever made it wearing only one watch is two weeks...

And even then, I switch it out at need. Sistem 51 for workouts, dressy or vintage or both watch for church, beater (e.g. Marathon GSAR) for yard and mechanic work, etc.
But every few days or so, another watch in the collection usually calls to me.
Before collecting watches, I wore the same watch all the time. We all have our Philistine past.

I currently am not ,and not really even considering being a "one watch guy". I assume many on here may be, if not, could you be a "one watch guy"? Personally, I like to rotate every once in a while. I currently have 4 modern pieces and maybe 7 or 8 vintag...

I tend to wear modern watches through the day and swap for a vintage for the evening. That way they all get similar wrist time and I don’t consider servicing until something doesn’t feel quit right. Regards Kev.

But my criteria tends toward that.. buying something that I can wear daily. Right now I think I have 10 pieces including "beaters". My happy number might probably be 5 and I have 2 of those already out of the 10 that I have. There are days when I ask myse...
I'm pretty much a 10 watch guy with 4 on the side

Ideally I would like to own 10 amazing, never-sell grails and an additional 4 inexpensive ($500-2000) knock around watches for surfing, the gym, etc. I get anxiety if I have too many of anything, knowing damn well I have my favorites and those that I may ...
