Hand finishing of the movement

Dear all,
The other day once having few drinks (few more than usual) I hand the Lightbulb moment. I’d start hand finishing movements to the ALS level.
Now few days on, the question is:
Has anyone here tried doing it? I’ve never dismantled the movement yet (well I did few times when I was a kid, left out with few spare parts after assembling...).
I thought the “easiest” movement would be from a hand wound Nomos (Tangente with a display caseback).
Let me know if this is doable in any way, or I should quit drinking Absinthe...

I’m not. But I consider myself a quick learner. I’m sure there’s enough literature online to help me with it. Another issue would be getting the tools and all the abrasives, files etc.
My watchmaker has done this.

Having trained to do it in Switzerland, and having all the tools needed. He has an old speedmaster he finished to lange level, closed back so only he knows. We've talked about him finishing a movement for me, it could happen.

Would be fun to try on an inexpensive movement...won't cost you much if you screw it up (or several of them up). Would be interesting to know what tools and materials would be required to do the job. Seems like most of the result comes from the elbow grea...
