Don,
I thought I'd select a few shots of L&H pieces, my watch plus a few others. I couldn't resist adding in a couple of unusual pieces seldom seen, MB&F HM#4 courtesy of a gentleman Purist we all know, a spectacular Grieb & Benzinger that a friend of mine enjoys in AZ.
My Johann in WG with those lovely elongated romans...
The superb Albert in platinum
Traditional Saxon finishing, a frosted finish done with powdered silver applied to brass plates & bridges with natural hair brush & salt solution which is then gold plated.
Comparing the simple time only with the chrono movement of the Albert.
The Heinrich with the anti-retrograde date and power reserve on the dial, and sporting a dead beat seconds coupled to a constant force escape wheel.
The newest L&H Friedrich II a simple time only in steel.
Comparing calibers of the Friedrich II and the Heinrich
My most favorite to date MB&F offering, the amazing HM 4
A lovely G & B based on an old IWC pocket watch caliber, the Cal 97 from the 1930's
Have a great weekend all,
Cheers,
Tim
