On my wrist today, after a long break

The Parmigiani Toric Chronograph in platinum. It used to be my go-to watch some years ago, on my wrist most days of the week. These days, the VC Cornes de Vache takes up most of my chronograph time as this is simply the perfect chrono for me. But I must say, the Parmigiani still ticks a lot of the boxes: a classical but sporty watch with great proportions, 40mm case, Zenith El Primero based movement with high-level finishing, nice guilloche dial, blue-steeled hands in Parmigiani's signature javelin style, an organic round case that wears extremely well... even the date (although I'm not a fan) is integrated well in the dial design.
What's not to like?

Thanks for watching.

Daniel

Gorgeous! And I usually don't like the date but here it blends in perfectly

I used to have the rose gold black dial, but the white date window at the relatively unusual location always annoyed me. On yours it blends it beautifully! What a stunner

Thanks, alphabeta.

When I bought the watch it had a black dial. I replaced it for the silver one because I preferred the look.

I think it‘s a pity Parmigiani doesn’t get the recognition they deserve for the solid work they do. I guess they miss a standout piece that would have helped them to get the brand awareness. I still like many of their watches, especially from the early 20...

Love the guilloche on the dial and the rotor!
