Also share mine here with "gilt" dial and 38mm case so wears well. 18kt rose gold on lizard strap. Female type spring bars on four short gold spigots inside the lugs, so a bit delicate to change a strap without breaking off or bending a spigot. The lugs are hollow to save the amount of gold used to make the case (times were hard then for manufacture). Same problem with off-centre chronograph hand but hell, you would
not take this into space to measure 14 seconds to save a life! I think there were lots of these in 1940's and 1950's with different manufacturers.

Yes the back is very thin but the number and case manufacturer's number (inside a hammerhead) still shows. Inside is a similar cover like yours, which fits tightly. I do not like to remove the gold back too much because I fear the very fine edge fit will ...
