Three astronomical watches from Ulysse Nardin whose pictures haunt me. Astrolabium, Tellurium and Planetarium.

We'll agree on one point: Official pictures are rarely exciting, most often uninspired.

But sometimes, there are some strong exceptions.

Like here.

Astrolabium Galileo Galilei:

Planetarium Copernicus:

And Tellurium Johannes Kepler:

Without forgetting the family picture, in the same vein:

Poetry, Mystery, Dreams, Adventures... Yes, these pictures are excellent. And the watches just a dream.

Best,

Nicolas

If you are responsible for them you really do not need a new Leica. As for the watches-in some ways these may be the greatest ever produced. Truly so far ahead of anyone else with these extreme complications presented in such a beautiful fashion. I'd love...

Oh, and I see you are over 183,000 posts.

Humbly I must say that in the metal and on the wrist these timepieces are an incredible combination of art and science. Conceived by a master and executed by a company in its heyday.

There is no trio equal to these. Familiar as we are with the dial side of each the movement side is equally enticing.

Where could you do that? (nt)

I believe that UN doesn't have fully assembled Trilogy pieces waiting to be ordered, if at all. It was really extraordinary that UN had loaned the full Trilogy to a rather small shop in Salzburg having become an authorized UN dealer many years ago. So I h...
