Some yard work...
The project started six weeks ago with some planning sessions...
Today was the day we started to cut down two trees on the property.
The tree trunks will lay in the yard, decompose, and form a base for the new growth.
The plan is to plant a mix of 12 new 2~3 meter trees - including nut and fruit trees - along with 35 trees of 50 cm and and and...
about 30% of the trees this autumn and the rest in early spring... in the second photo you can see the terrace is almost finished...
It's a fun project...

the project is managed by a local landscaping company... we did a tour of their other projects and fell in love with the design they came up with. Casey
