Tell your friend the first leg started on the canal near Tipton I’m sure he’ll know it. The old Jensen factory is still there mate it’s on a loop off the main canal think it’s just out of shot on one of the pics. Im very familiar with the Netherton/Dudley... 

Certainly would have been different in those days imagine the canals would have been like our modern day motorways buzzing with activity ; ) Cheers

My uncle was a lifer at Wedgwood. Been a while since I’m been through those parts. He would have to drive places to meet people. I used to sit in the car. In those days it was ok to leave a young child in a car.
