Took the bike for a ride today along the canals into the city

Not the route I’d usually take into the city but decided to make the 12 mile trip on the bike.  Lots of pics hope you don’t mind : )

Galton bridge built by Thomas Telford in 1829. When constructed its single span of 151ft was the highest in the world.

Tell your friend the first leg started on the canal near Tipton I’m sure he’ll know it. The old Jensen factory is still there mate it’s on a loop off the main canal think it’s just out of shot on one of the pics. Im very familiar with the Netherton/Dudley...

My uncle was a lifer at Wedgwood. Been a while since I’m been through those parts. He would have to drive places to meet people. I used to sit in the car. In those days it was ok to leave a young child in a car.
