An interesting and impressive spectrum of new releases.

 By: ArmisT : October 18th, 2022-12:20
I wonder if this is everything, or whether others will be released in coming days/weeks.

Interesting spectrum indeed!

Which one do you like most?

5204g for me..

 By: PaddyP : October 18th, 2022-13:25
A lefty chrono and rainbow aqua.. straight out the Rolex playbook? Haha.

World Time for me.

Honestly , as a right hander, I think having the pushers on the left side of the case make more sense and is easier. The winding crown on right is easier.

Yes I love destros too… but with this complicated dial; the

Discontinuation of 5711…

 By: Watches&Men : October 18th, 2022-14:00
Followed by the introduction of 5811… It’s a familiar playbook used by other brands but rather unexpected from Patek. I have mixed feeling about this.

Before that, we saw discontinuation of 3711

...followed by introduction of 5711

Can’t say we didn’t see this coming…

 By: Watches&Men : October 18th, 2022-14:40
After all Mr Thierry Stern mentioned the following in an interview last year to explain the discontinuation of 5711: “I don’t want us to have more than a third steel watches. The steel Nautilus makes up a big part of that quota, and I don’t like that” ...

Do you expect that a replacement steel version (time +date only) is forthcoming in future based on Patek’s pattern of releases?

 By: ArmisT : October 18th, 2022-15:05
I’m confused now by Stern’s discontinuation…did he mean the steel version or time/date version? Well, can’t be time/date given this new 5811.

😂😉👍

Talking about the 5811...

 By: andrea~ : October 18th, 2022-14:21
Likes: dial, movement and clasp Dislikes: increase in size (why???), bracelet still has PINS, no quick change system like in the Overseas BUT, most of all... I really don't care, I have neither the money, nor the relationships, nor the desire to own it.

ALL TERIFFIC LOOKING-5811?

 By: vicunaman1 : October 18th, 2022-14:57
The Aquanaut with the white silicone strap is spectacular also....

Nice

 By: Krinck : October 18th, 2022-15:02
Lots to like here, I’m a fan of all Pateks salmon dials, and the 5811 in WG is a welcome addition. However, I do think the leftie watch looks upside down, it was my first thought and I can’t shake it.

Do you think

They just rotated the movement 180 degrees and called it a day? Or would that be beneath patek? 😂

Yes… it gives off as a “recycled”

 By: Darron : October 22nd, 2022-13:24
Movement. For me it was nice moonphase and leap year indicators

Many thanks, Saz, for opening this thread with the eight truly spectacular models Patek released today. Given the current situation on the Patek forum, I decided NOT to make my usual 9am live announcement for WatchProSite this time.

Let me just thank Everyone for all the huge support, even if it comes as no surprise to me. I will respond to all personal and text messages by the end of the day today. Also, huge thanks as usual to Patek Philippe for its constant support, trust and frie...

Many thanks for your kind words, much appreciated! :-)

Out of (abundance of) correctness, I still rather not go into details for the time being, but let me just say that after all the passion, energy, and (I hope ) results I put into managing this great forum on a daily basis for the past two years....the sho...

First thoughts

 By: RGS : October 18th, 2022-15:23
Impressed and surprised by the blue dial of the 5811/1G. Also surprised, but not impressed by the blue dial of the 5990/1A. This means only one thing in my book: Bye bye to the simple date time Nautilus in steel. For good. If PP intended to re introduce t...

Interesting. I interpreted the 5811g differently...

 By: Fastwong : October 19th, 2022-19:32
I assumed this is just a way to take advantage of the hype nautilus market, a cash grab while the market is hot, and when things start to soften up then they can reintroduce a steel model. While they don't want to be AP I also don't think they want to ced...

No entry level steel Nautilus

 By: RGS : October 19th, 2022-22:06
No more. Sporty Calatrava steel models will do that job. And in 1-3 years time a new line will be introduced - also with a core steel model. The Nautilus is now something more than a simple entry level sport PP. It is, as PP repositioned the entire line, ...

Love the 5990 blue!

 By: 中野れい : October 18th, 2022-16:16
Of course, unobtainable as usual Lately, I also love the world time chrono too! 🤤

Haha I can only cringe

 By: 中野れい : October 23rd, 2022-08:05
😅

To be honest, I only have 1 Nautilus (and a RO circa 1992) from Genta's family

 By: 中野れい : October 24th, 2022-01:25
The 5726 is my sibling's 😅 that I wore for a while. The others I posted before were borrowed from the net to show how they're loved. I am looking for a 5980 steel but haven't found one at the 'right' price... Sorry if I misled anyone.

Thank you Sir !

 By: 中野れい : October 24th, 2022-16:15
I will take my time r/e the 5980/1A If we are meant to cross path, then it'll happen 😉

👍👍🥂Cheers.

5373 is sublime

 By: doubleup : October 19th, 2022-01:24
I don’t think it’s too busy and love the look. The southpaws have had a pretty good last year I think. Dream watch for me but still, love the movement, case and dial. Only thing I guess I don’t like are the rivet looking things on the lugs. Why do they do...

5712/1R is the winner imo

 By: penfriend : October 19th, 2022-16:03

+1, totally agree on this new /1R iteration, Shun --- it aesthetically elevates the 5712 even further ;-) In a sense, this reminds me of the huge success of the 5990/1R, last year's INCREDIBLY good-looking replacement of an earlier /1A model....

 By: FabR : October 22nd, 2022-00:38
Of course we don't have official data on the 5712/1R yet, but from what I'm hearing from people after the first exhibits and client events, I wouldn't be surprised if this new "all-R" model will be another blast at that level! Enjoy.

The world timer is the sleeper of the bunch.

Very nice batch of releases here!

 By: w220 : October 23rd, 2022-22:45
Very nice batch of releases here! But it hasn't even been a week, and some of these are already showing up at gray dealers for 4 times the list price. It really is sad to see. (FabR - please delete if not allowed)

Thanks for your feedback, and no problem --- for as long as we don't entertain discussions of market prices or of course provide links to these secondary dealers, bringing up the reality of the situation is perfectly fine on my forum.

 By: FabR : October 24th, 2022-14:00
In fact, you'll find me in agreement that while (thanks to Patek's considerable efforts!) this phenomenon is relatively limited, sadly I think it will hardly ever be entirely eliminated. And it is indeed very sad, on many levels --- both for that fringe o...
