Million dollar dial:The unique 5196 quartet

The OAK collection features 3 and opens at the Design Museum in London on the 19th May

The unique collection features a yellow gold and rose gold based on the original 570 pieces

I also now found the elusive 5196p with blue dial (credit Robb Report)

The final is my friend salmon dial
The Salmon dial incidentally is the only one with Breguet hands
A unique quartet of 5196, possibly the most beautiful modern time only Patek, as if the regular 5196 range and especially the platinum were not beautiful enough

Old and new together

Vintage inspired

The unique 5196p salmon

The black Breguet numerals and salmon also inspired by a vintage 96

The “regular “ 5196p isn’t exactly undesirable!!!

I was reading about the OAK Collection. The 'unique' or 'one of a kind' collecting philosophy of Mr Getreide is quite remarkable and fortunately done at the right period of time. Unfortunately I think brands are now less inclined to make unique/one of a k...

Is anyone else bothered by the placement of the sub-seconds? That is something I have never been able to get over. I find the placement here to be so much more convincing: ...
