I agree, the PP works much better (by far) on the dressier side of the smart casual range.

The problem is that both work for me, but my wallet doesn't agree πŸ˜› And I haven't asked my wife yet to allow my dreams to last a bit longer 🀣

This is just a thought, not a plan yet, but a dilemma πŸ™Š

I recently started to look at rose/pink gold in a different way, which is quite suprising to me, having only white metals (I'm not counting my old two-tone Hublot Classic which I barely use). I still don't see myself wearing R at work, so I think I should...

It’s the PP for me...

because, it’s just very cool.

The Aquanaut looks fantastic on you and fits your wrist perfectly

While I have the utmost respect for Rolex, the PP is simply in a different league and well worth the additional cost, IMO. You should get it. NickO

Thanks a lot Nick, much appreciated

I cannot argue that, and last time I tried it on (the enclosed picture) I definitely felt something special and totally unexpected.

Thanks Fab! I like the PP better, but the Rolex would add some diversity to the collection

You raised a good point, would be interesting to compare the result on the Rolex Forum.

They both look great but ... the PP for me as well

i saw someone in a suit wearing the PP and it looks great in suits and casual!

Thanks Yacomino!

I have to agree on that, I was wearing a suit when tried it on and looked stunning.

Hey Nico, the Yacht Master in my picture is the 40mm in rose

The new white gold version is out of the equation πŸ˜‰

It makes 5-1 for the Aquanaut

But being the 1 yours, the score is not as unbalanced as it looks 😜 Btw, may I ask why you prefer the Rolex?

Hey, why does his vote count more?

Competition is still open!

As someone who has tried on both..

I think from a technical perspective the Rolex has a better bracelet, bezel and is more durable. The PP has a much cleaner dial and prettier backside. Your pictures do not do the yatch master justice though. It looks much better in real life and I think i...

Thanks a lot for your sincere opinion

I agree with you and those are exactly the reasons why I am considering the Rolex. And I must confess that, even though I love the 5167R a lot, the Yatch Master is a hair ahead in my personal ranking (it may change in a few seconds though 😜).

PP for me.

Looks great with your jacket and shirt IMHO, I never have that feeling with jacket and shirt combined with Rolex sports models. Easy it gets too bulky IMHO. The way one is dressed is ofcourse very personal so it's up to you. Go with what works for you. Be...
