And yes, the Original Wood veneer is extremely vulnerable and especially suffering from heat and sunshine. I‘m happy that I never needed to re-veneer it at my merry old 1978 XJ6... ...  

And I see your solar powered "waving queen" in the window. I have the same one in my garage window, a gift from one of my daughters a few years ago. LOL
