A great period before the British car industry became racked with poor design, poor quality and old technology with the heavy burden of the unions. Better now though...for the time being... [nt]

Well said. Management was terrible, (most) design awful and the trad unions motivated only by extreme politics. Even then, though, some good cars did emerge. [nt]
