Thanks for an excellent selection -- Bulgari really got so much right with the OF line, and there's still lots to like in all new iterations! Here's one of my favorite (and one of their simplest) versions:

Tried on a few Octo Finissimos at long last.

While I went specifically to see the silver dial small seconds in steel, above, and the black dial chronograph GMT on rubber strap, which they didn't have in store, the pictured chrono GMT made the strongest impression on me. The striking contrast between...

all spectacular pieces

personally i own the skeleton and love wearing it... stealth and an engineering marvel. best of luck going through a decision making process on these.... personally i would love to see the new chrono but have not yet had a chance to do so in the real.

Yeah, they promised to order the chrono on rubber for me to look at so

I'll update this post once I get a chance to see that one.

Looks Great On Your Wrist!

Enjoyed reading your initial impressions. Long-term, the bracelet is very comfortable too. Did you see how the clasp butterfly goes into the bracelet for added comfort? Look fwd to your opinion on other Octos. ...

Thank you! Opening the bracelet on the wrist took me a while and only

when I understood how that worked did I also comprehend what you mentioned about the integration of the clasp. Ingenious and super comfortable, indeed. And the movements are obviously something to marvel at, too. Didn't take any movement pictures because ...

Thank you, they are all great; however, if I could choose,

I'd take the bucket filled to the brim with gold nuggets in that display window anytime. (And get rid of the bucket then.) Cheers Marc

Thanks for all the pictures

the Bvlgari Octo Finissimo line is a great series of watches, that have an amazing presence and wrist comfort. I am wearing the titanium version, but I do love the new steel version with a silver dial. Here is mine, a titanium version from the first colle...

Lovely! I had the same experience as you, recently.

Obviously, I ended up going with the silvered dial, although I really do love the titanium iterations as well. For me, it came down to water resistance. I could see myself adding a second OF down the line. It is an interesting statement piece, that I coul...

I hope your issue with the movement will be sorted out soon. Your thread - and excellent picture - may

have prompted my visit today, actually. Cheers Marc

I am optimistic!

These things happen - I had a kind of similar experience with my JLC. I am just sad it is off my wrist. It is such an addictive watch to wear.

While I have resisted Bulgarian to date,

I have to admit that the Octo’s test my resolves. Really sexy pieces! Thanks for sharing!

Very attractive watches! Did you get one?

A lot of famous watchmakers own Octo Finissimos.

These are really spectacular watches

I'll say I like them best in titanium--the extremely matte finish makes them look almost like concrete, which really emphasis the watch's peculiarity.

They all look good on your wrist.

I don’t know about the strap though, the bracelet is such an integral part of the design. But best to see it in person as you plan.

Agreed on the central role of the bracelet.

However, the "insubstantial" feel of the titanium bracelet was probably the only aspect that didn't win me over and would at least take me some time to get used to.

I guess that’s what you get with these new steel models, more of a feel (solid, weight) that we expect.

 By: Jay (Eire) : September 25th, 2021-13:39
For me, it’s that insubstantial feeling of the bracelet which I like. I have a few watches with Ti cases and bracelets and I love the feeling of not feeling anything on your wrist while still having that look of a bracelet (which I prefer). It’s also why ...

It's still just flirting, to be honest, as I am

waiting for something else that might or might not come my way anytime soon. Plus, according to my wife, I would have to give my arm hair a serious trim if I wore anything that slim and I can't see myself do that, ever...

They're all lovely!

I would like to see a non-chromo GMT version, maybe with the 24hr dial at 7 o'clock.

I really like the octo as well.

I did not buy, but here are my wrist shots (finger smudges are mine).from when I tried it on. My only concern was/is: will I continue to like the unique profile as time goes on or will it feel like a passing fad? I tend to enjoy classic styling and this f...

Well, I do acknowledge and partly share your concern.

I also realize they look great on your wrist! Cheers Marc

Yeah, that’s the turmoil I’m in.

I think they look good on my wrist also. I’m waiting to see if after awhile, I still think that.🤔🤔
