Yeah - I ony wish that the sandblasted SS offered the 10 bar water resistance of the black dial, brushed/polished steel model,

Which one is your favourite?

Today, I went out to do some shopping and couldn't resist to pay a quick visit to the Bulgari boutique. I had the opportunity to try on a few Octo Finissimo watches: Titanium GMT Chrono (42mm): Titanium Automatic (40mm): I also tried on the Steel (sandbla...

You know what?

 By: 1WatchMan : May 22nd, 2020-15:01
I didn't even asked for it. I almost declined to try it on, as I wasn't interested based on the pictures I had seen. How wrong I was!

There is just something about it... very nice [nt]

No message body

These are watches that need to be seen and touched in person...

Which I haven't been able to do yet. That said and based purely on photos, I am voting for the titanium chrono...๐Ÿ˜‰

Very good question, my friend ๐Ÿ˜Š

 By: 1WatchMan : May 22nd, 2020-23:03
Not easy to answer, as we're comparing apples and oranges. But I would say that I'm considering more the DD, which I would wear much more, I believe. The Bulgari is a watch that I would wear occasionally.

I agree, I'm much more impressed by the Bulgari as well

 By: 1WatchMan : May 23rd, 2020-08:55
The Rolex would be the "safe purchase" and the Bulgari the "risky" one ๐Ÿ˜›

When I bought mine, I went for the sandblasted SS

 By: Modernahab : May 22nd, 2020-14:21
I prefer the livelier finish of the SS to the more muted titanium. My second choice would probably be the black ceramic. I really like the chrono from the horological perspective, but I don't feel the dial design succeeds as well aesthetically as the simp...

Look and feel

Bang, your right. I do not know what it is, but most of the first editions i like more than what comes next. It is most of the time that the second editions have more complications. The thirds are overkill. Take for example a Cartier Santos, a simply stee...

I have to agree with you, most of the times it's like you said

 By: 1WatchMan : May 23rd, 2020-02:02
However, I prefer the ceramic here. I got attracted by the original, but on my wrist the ceramic wins. Difficult to explain with words.

A great answer again

You are a great friend. My other great friend is Jurry, the Vacheron Constantin king. Nicolas, a great friend, Abe, Scarlet, James, and all the others. Sorry if i forget names. EinPa, Cazelea, FabR, Horology75, all great watch guys. Have a nice weekend. ....

My favorite? The Ti 3-hands.

Enjoy it in the best health.

Iโ€˜ve got the ceramic one, so thatโ€˜s your answer. But I loved all versions I saw, except for the skeleton ones. Chose the ceramic one, because it was the best fit for my collection.

 By: nafetS : May 23rd, 2020-00:45
It may just be my imagination, but it looks to me, as if the chrono is a bit too large for your wrist. It may not be comfortable to wear over a longer time.

You're totally right

 By: 1WatchMan : May 23rd, 2020-02:11
The ceramic was the winner on my wrist yesterday. The chrono was indeed too big for my wrist, althoug I like the proportions and love the caliber.

And it wears sooooo comfortably and light

 By: Maltie : May 23rd, 2020-03:59
Like a glove. You barely notice it. ๐Ÿ˜‚

This is something very appealing to me

 By: 1WatchMan : May 23rd, 2020-08:52
I don't know why, but on this "lockdown mode" I'm not comfortable with any weight on the wrist.

I prefer the time only in sand blasted titanium

 By: Geo : May 24th, 2020-05:26
The Chrono is รผber cool, but too large for my wrist, while the time only is just perfect. Take your time to decide; it is not easy. GEO

Biretro

 By: Nick : May 25th, 2020-17:25
The octo biretro is my favorite thing of the takeover. Unrestrained Genta later in life came out with some zany watches. He came out with some winners like the biretro classic and sport. I think at a minimum he had a hand in the solo. But exhibit A, Watch...

Itโ€™s almost magical once it land on ur wrist

wasnโ€™t even considering it as it was too thin for my taste until I tried on friendโ€™s and wowed ๐Ÿคฉ Best, Ed~ ...

Very nice!

 By: 1WatchMan : July 6th, 2020-23:09
I love the watch and the look of its caliber, but it does wear too large on my wrist ๐Ÿ˜ฅ Thanks Ed!
