Your time machine story is epic ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป

Here my humble contribution. I was searching for two days for a Campari world time poster from the 1920s, which would have fit perfectly but alas it was not to be.
So here some ideas. In some ways I regret having been born past the prime of some places, of which I could only hear but not witness (at least not as they were back then).
So here goes...
Lebanon in the 1960s / early 1970s:
Paris in 1972 (more on that in a second)...
Yugoslavia in the late 1960s / 70s...
As for watches - for Paris 1972 definitely this one:
I am sure it would work fine for the legendary parties of of Beirut, too...
And the Doxa Searambler for the rest. A perfect pool companion on the one hand and one of the few Western watch brands sold in the former Yugoslavia back in the day, so quite fitting I find. Plus the re-issue is almost 100% historically accurate.
And while Tito was very much a Patek man, the Vostok Precision Class, with itโs Zenith Cal. 135 derived Cal. 2809 (modified to central seconds) would have been the piece to have for the rest in the late Sixties Yugoslavia ๐
Wishing everyone a great Sunday!
