Hello dear friend Izhik!! Great to have you hosting WS this week end!!

Always believed that our most cherished watches were those with a good story behind.
You show two superb watches with a great story backing them as a nice starting of this thread.
Iβm sharing two watches. The 16750 GMT I showed with its complete story a couple of weeks ago. I inherited it from my Father in Law who passed away in 2011. It was his favorite of several watches he owned and I had presented it to him in 1983. It is now in my collection and will be passed to my son as a remembrance of his Grandpa.
The Panerai 587 Mamma Mia was a souvenir of my trip to Paris in 2014. It reminds me of some adventurous hunting of this just released new model that year and the purchase just minutes before the departure of my plane.
It reminds me of a beautiful time in Paris with my wife, daughter (helping me with the purchase at the Paris boutique) and grand daughters and also a great time spent with Nicolas and friends in an unforgettable GTG he organized.
Have a great week end Izhik and all friends here!!
Cheers! Abel
