I'm with you, imho this is the new king of chronos

There are many beautiful chronos, many well finished chronos, many historically significant chronos, and many novel and complex chronos. I think there are truly few innovative and game changing chronos. Congrats on this pairing! In the same way the double split was a game changer I think the Sequential has again taken another big step in expanding what we think a chronograph can do.
I think some media wrote this off as simply two chronos slapped into one watch, a less innovative watch for not having the complexity of a traditional rattrapante or the DS. I couldn't disagree more, imho it takes innovative thinking to deliver more functionality, with less complexity, and more durability/reliability. My biggest issue with chronos has been lack of attention to reliability as part of the architecture, but underneath the incredible new functionanlity of the MB&F there's also been some really great work in reinventing the traditional chrono mechanism as well. As chronographs go, this has the finishing to match the best of them but durability/reliability and functionality that is unmatched. I could nit pick about 30 minute dials vs 60 and not really being able to measure sub second increments but that's missing the point, this is a monster paradigm change in chronos that has NEVER been done before and as far as I can tell, has not just been an achievement but a complication executed really really well.
I played with one a few weeks ago, it was beyond my expectations. I swore off chronos this year - sold my last one and returned another indy "innovative" chrono that broke in the first few minutes of using it so I was ready to be underwhelmed or at least skeptical of the MB&F and instead was totally floored.
