Wind to start.

It’s hard to deny that the process of winding this specific watch is something special.

I kinda forget, and then like this morning I take it out and wind it to get ready for the day.  Without fail within a rotation or two I’m flipping it around so as I can see the chain in action.

It’s a pity Lange could not open the movement up a little more.  A lot of the appeal of the Logical One for example is that openness and the ability to see the chain being wound.  Alas, that would not really have been Lange.

We caught some morning sun on the way to work this morning.  Perfect for a quick wrist shot.

What a special watch! I'd love to add a watch in the Richard Lange family to my collection one day. I especially like your Pour le Merite, and I am a fan of the Jumping Seconds as well.

I think I know what you mean!

My Lange up/down has such an amazing winding feeling compared to all my other watches. And yours must be quite a few step up from as well so wow! 😃

It's really a secret pleasure only known to yourself and those in the know.

And that alone makes your PLM even more awesome!

That was (is) a big part of the appeal.

In the general crowd for sure, anonymous. Even more, there would be many Lange owners to who this one would not be recognizable.

The chain is a marvel to behold. This was one of my most memorable moments.

I've shared this story before. The short version is that towards the end of event in 2001, after most people had left, Walter Lange tapped me on the shoulder and motioned me over to a table. He took off his Tourbillon PLM (YG #1) and put it under a projec...

Thanks for sharing; I don’t think I’ve heard this story before.

It’s a very cool story, and clearly one that is one of the foundations of your Lange appreciation.

A stunning wrist!
