Love this watch
I wear my up/down more than any other dress watch. I think its proportions are perfect, the 3/4 plate Is a beauty, and the Germanic case design is iconic. For dress occasions, I wear it far more than my 3919 Calatrava. I find my pink gold version tough to wear in a really casual context, but that’s just because of my personal views of yellow and rose gold. I find white gold and platinum much easier to dress down.

Indeed the 1815 can be the watch for any occasion; except maybe the rough and tumble of infant childcare. I’d be afraid of banging it off something!
