Breguet Tradition 7097 review over 1 year later!
Just sharing some more photos of the Breguet Tradition 7097 over 1 year later 
The watch has been with me during many happy moments including while wearing a kilt (!)
I think that Breguet nailed it with the 40mm automatic version retrograde seconds. The rotor on the back is amazing (black polish gold) and simply put there is nothing like this on the market
I have also seen and considered in the past the 37mm version but frankly legibility is a big issue there. I know that some purists love the 37mm but I wouldn't be surprised to know that
-- in practice -- the readability does impact the wrist time. The 40mm allows you to read the time well enough not to become a bother.
The highlight of the watch is obviously the open movement. There is simply nothing like this in the market.
The retrograde seconds do not impact readability and make the watch much more special in my opinion. The dial is also in solid gold!
In short I love the watch and I think is very much under-appreciated (like many Breguet watches). It is incredibly elegant and obviously the movement a masterpiece with many innovations
and not just a unique look.
