Is our beloved 7027 discontinued?
Nov 27, 2019,08:44 AM
I've been a stalker on these forums for a long time and i've read that quite a few of us here like the 7027 with its 37mm case, perfect proportions (something lacking in the 7057) etc.
The 7027 is a watch that i fell in love with in an instant. It kind of changed how i looked at watches and served as the jumping point for my horological "journey".
This was a few years ago and i am still mesmerized by the 7027, particularly the classic yellow gold model discontinued in 2014 (as per my reading) white gold/anthracite, white gold/silver frosted finish with blued highlights and each combination completely changes the look and feel of the watch!
A friend of mine asked me about the 7027 and i went to the breguet website to download a high res picture to serve as a reference and i noticed that many models were missing from the website!, i asked nick from the vegas breguet boutique about the disappearance from the website and the catalog on instagram and much to my dismay he said that the 7027 has been discontinued.
This was a few months ago and the only 7027 version that is still on the website is the rosegold case/anthracite movement.
The 7057 seems to have all of its variants listed both on the website/catalog.
Can anyone with contacts in the industry confirm that the 7027 has been discontinued?
Breguet has lots of "hidden" references, models that were produced for a very short time, models not present anywhere on the brand's website, only appear in old videos/old posts/auctions.
Prime examples of such are the Tradition 7047 in yellow gold(short production), 7087 minute repeater tourbillon (not produced due to technical diffiiculties,i was told) ref. 1775 with a multitude of complications, etc.
I lamented the
Also missing from the 2019 catalog is the Type XX (3800/ST and 3820/ST), probably due for a refresh (i hope that the model presented at only watch 2019 is the direction in which the design direction of the Line-up is headed)
The production of these two models has stopped long back and i dearly miss the blued screws and other blued elements and the colors of these models.
