Vintage Ads: The Series – Intro!

Jun 14, 2011,12:39 PM

Hello Vintage Jaeger-LeCoultre Lovers,

After 1 ½ years of non-stop work with 3000+ hours, tomorrow afternoon I will finally start a very longed after vacation!

To celebrate this I like to announce the start of an upcoming series of posts I plan to post in the forum – Vintage Ads: The Series.

Earlier I promised to put together a post about vintage ads and catalogues.

But I have come to the conclusion that it will be better if I split it up into several posts.

I hope you will agree with me…

To state a few things about these upcoming posts:

I will try to highlight one watch/one type of watch or a theme in each post even if some of the ads show several different watches or themes.

I know there are many more ads then these I will show, but I have decided only to include ads that I have in original paper form, if you have others please add them.

These posts will not be in any particular order, I will write them as I find suiting…

This will be a long term project of mine here in the forum.

Sounds mysterious?

Like the world of Jaeger-LeCoultre!

So, with start tomorrow: Vintage Ads: The Series!

Stay tuned!
