I had the good fortune of visiting the high arctic early this past summer. We took a short cruise out of Longyearbyen around the northwest corner of Svalbard. My longest lens is an 80mm equivalent so the wildlife shots were never going to be easy. Thankfully the landscapes up there are otherworldly and gorgeous. Here's a few shots!

If I recall, it varied between 15-25 F (-10 to -3 C). Dress properly and there are no issues!

Fuji's 50mm f2.0. Full frame equivalent is actually 75mm, I was mistaken earlier. It's a great lens, not just for portraits! For full disclosure, the wides were taken on Fuji's 14mm f2.8.
