It looks wonderful with that aventurine dial, beautiful specimen

There are maybe some very subtle hints of purple under certain lighting condiitons but it is mainly blue....the color of the dial changes dramatically based on lighting and how the watch is angled towards the light. It's why it is difficult to really capt... 

Why on earth I wrote dial instead of strap is beyond me. The strap is kinda purple right, or does it seem so because of the lighting? Never saw an aventurine dial in metal, hope I can see one soon, even in photos it looks great

Same comment as for the dial, it is a shiny blue color. I am not sure why it looks so purple in that one picture..must be the phone camera software and how ot processes and renders picture colors and lighting...a. ...  

Well at least we know that if one day you decide to put on a dark purple strap on the watch, it would still look like a dream. Thanks for all the photos, it’s been a blast to look at all of them!
