For all the Polaris Fans: A Sketch from Magali.

Nov 14, 2011,14:30 PM

I used this sketch several times as a frame for my Polaris pictures, it is time, now that I have a good scanner to see it, integrally!

Thanks for the nice gift, Magali.

Best,

Nicolas.

I think I have slowly come to grip that I prefer the Polaris tribute over the DSA tribute...granted they are different pieces but I just find myself drawn to the Polaris more...

The eternal dilemma.

TT DSA or TT Polaris... It will depend on everbody's mood ( of the day ). One may be seen as more elegant ( the DSA ), the other as having more character ( the TT Polaris ). Both may well be the solution to this dilemma... Best, Nicolas.

That is beautiful!

One of my all time favorite watches. What a treasure you have in that sketch, Nicolas. Best, Respo

It is indeed a very special watch.

A Cult watch, we can say... One which inspired several modern JLCs in its concept and aesthetics. As for the sketch, it is a must have for every Polaris Fan. A wallpaper for our screen? Best, Respo. Nicolas.

Very cool.

I'm a big fan of sketches and use them not only at work but when figuring out projects as well.

Thanks, Michael.

Do you make some sketches of your watches? If so, it may be an idea for your future posts... Best, Nicolas.

Not yet.

But I have thought of some unique ideas, watch related. I will make a point of jotting down a few ideas.

That is a really nice gift.

Beautiful.I wonder if this sketch from Magali has something to do with the upcoming SIHH 2012. A regular production diving memovox model maybe? I hope so. Best.

thanks for sharing
