5970 is great, but a 5004 (in P or RG) is the most exhaustive watch you can have...but it's very difficult to find one !Good luck...

...5004P and 5004R are now officially discontinued ! PP will deliver a few 5004J before the end of Automn (to people who asked for one 2 years ago or more), before removing the 5004's from catalogue.

Everybody knows that it is no more possible to get a 5004, for 2 or 3 years.And a Patek director told me yesterday that it will be terminated after delivery the last 10-15 pieces this year (for happy buyers).Sorry for those that wanted one !Cheers...

Your 5970R is so so nice !The perfect duo is 5970R for the day and relax evenings...and the 5004R for formal dinners, weddings etc...Congratulations !

I really think that the R is the rarest (ok, 1 year only for the P, but it was quite easy to have one)...like the 5004, more P than R, for sure.

Rose is more elegant, probably rarer and, with 5004R, the best Patek watch ! That's it.

Thank you for your answers. I say RG is probably the best choice. I find the 5004 platinum a little "insipid" for a so small watch (I prefer the 5970 in platinum for example, but 5970R is incredible, too !) I saw a 5004P with black dial, but I find...
