Gary - that's some good work and the movement is a classic. The 7001's just run and run and run.if you happen to find a source for those components I'd love to hear about it as I have some P7001's sitting in my drawer!
I don't know where the watch you are referring to falls within that, but I do know they've attempted to push their products, pricing, and social identity upwards within the last couple years. It's likely to use an ETA movement, such as the 2824 shown...
there might be some other fussy elements going on...
I do not think the words 'Zenith' and 'Chronometre' should line up straight (on that variation, the word 'Chronometre' is much wider than 'Zenith')
