thread: What on M. Journe's wrist?
Last year the gentlemen went playing with some fast cars at the Francorchamps  Spa circuit in Belgium .  Maybe it was a gift from FP to Michael and Jean ?
thread: FPJ Octa Calendier Vs FPJ Chrometere Resonance Vs PP5960 Vs Lange1 PT Timezone
I would go for the Resonance or maybe the discontinued Chronograph.  (so there is a little doubt)No Patek because it is Patek and no Lange1 because the case is to thick.
thread: Final days for the Octa Chronograph
the Resonance is also very practical with the two time-zones.I like them both.
thread: Stars on Astrolabium
Patrick, maybe this link can help you to determine if they had interverted some stars, changed places or names of stars.http: //www.autodidacts.f2s.com/   and use the Keith's automated astrolabe  (a Java applet)Good luck.Peter
thread: My two favorite UNs......
I is difficult to choose between the two beauties.Great choose, congratulations.
thread: Is this a Ulysse Nardin ?
Here is a scan of a shop display about the Book of Records and the Astrolabium Galilei Galileo. A plexi-glass ? Yes, that's possible because it doesn't feel "cold" when I touch it and it makes another sound than glass. But how I can be sure of that?...

to joke. Just to tease our dear Purists. It is a Ulysse Nardin Astrolabium . An old model (tx Lowbee) ref 901-22. (close Patrick). And Mr Marcus amazed me with his sharp eyes and his great explanation. Thanks for looking.
