It was called Ambrosia in Ancient times ;) :)

 By: Ares501 - Mr Green : December 1st, 2016-12:05
That how it tastes... but you already have open invitation for tasting ...so....

 By: nilomis : December 1st, 2016-12:54
After the GTG wine, you deserve something more... "Macho". But you need to guess the last/next watch. As we talk, I'm sipping a nice Wodka. Cheers, Nilo

Two stunners!

 By: KMII : December 2nd, 2016-01:47
I have not seen the first one live (but have seen Damjan's brother) and it is the best of the funkiness of the era And the GP Chrono is simply excellent - and here the date works very, very well, too! I believe that one I have seen, though

Thanks KMII

 By: crown comfort : December 3rd, 2016-13:19
indeed the Zenith is a post-Vienna acquisition and possibly inspired by Mr. D!

I'm blushing! [nt]

 By: TheMadDruid : December 2nd, 2016-06:13

Ω ref 2400 . . .

 By: Dr No : December 1st, 2016-13:18
. . . ca '44. There are surprises, and then, there are totally unexpected and joyful surprises. This falls into the latter camp. ...

Thanks! Wearing it now . . .

 By: Dr No : December 1st, 2016-14:11
. . . as I write these lines. Runs well observably; hope to get a handle on its actual timing performance later today. Art

It's good to be a friend of Bastardos Gang ;)

 By: Ares501 - Mr Green : December 1st, 2016-13:26
Yours D

You've heard of West Coast Choppers? . . .

 By: Dr No : December 1st, 2016-14:13
. . . well, there's a West Coast branch of the Bastardos, too. ...

I can witness that. [nt]

 By: amanico : December 1st, 2016-14:14

Where do I sign up?

 By: zabreg1 Mr White : December 2nd, 2016-01:26
I can be your member on permanent assignment to eastern territories.

Did I tell you about . . .

 By: Dr No : December 2nd, 2016-10:14
. . . the initiation ritual? Back-to-back rail shots . . . or else!

LOL!!! [nt]

 By: Ares501 - Mr Green : December 2nd, 2016-12:11

Same rabbit hole Damjan finds his! . . .

 By: Dr No : December 1st, 2016-14:07
. . . my understanding is that practically every desirable vintage imaginable finds its way there ;-) . . .

Is that the chair shot? ;)

By: blomman Mr Blue : December 1st, 2016-14:20
Great to see, my friend! HAGWE Blomman

No, not quite - that's the railing just outside . . .

 By: Dr No : December 1st, 2016-19:39
. . . my front door. I'm working on a set of photos for the Omega forum. A shame my ref 2179 is at my watchmaker's now . . . they make a perfect pair! Art

It's a civilian version of a model . . .

 By: Dr No : December 2nd, 2016-10:18
. . . supplied to the Swedish military during the War, cc. Blomman or tdn-dk might be able to tell us more - they're the experts on this reference. Warmest, Art

As it is from 1944...

 By: KMII : December 2nd, 2016-01:57
I take it we can safely put it into the greatest (not the latest) category Very nice!

Ah, but it is the most recent addition . . .

 By: Dr No : December 2nd, 2016-10:25
. . . so it's the latest as well! I followed Damjan's instructions to the letter ;-) . . .

So two in one :) [nt]

 By: KMII : December 2nd, 2016-11:05

The vintage finds you have and nothing short of amazing

 By: rnaden : December 2nd, 2016-02:20
For something over 70 years, this one looks really good!

Well, it helps to have them previously selected . . .

 By: Dr No : December 2nd, 2016-11:35
. . . by knowledgeable collectors. Black Connie, for example, came from none other . . . . . . than Bill Sohne. If anyone in the field of Omega collecting can be referred to as "the expert's expert", it's Bill. Art ...

That's a great surprise! [nt]

 By: TheMadDruid : December 2nd, 2016-06:14

Quick 'n dirty wrist shot . . .

 By: Dr No : December 3rd, 2016-17:03
. . . for context. Hopefully better pics soon; my new lens works for static shots, but not so hot with wrists. No stabilization . . . might have to go back to the drawing board. Best, Art ...

And I look forward to seeing you soon. I will be in ZG from the 16th, maybe we can do a repeat of our mini-GTG if Mr. D is available? In other words, grappa anyone?

Let's make it happen. [nt]

 By: zabreg1 Mr White : December 2nd, 2016-06:34
Much like I expect your greatest... I am just underwhelmed with photo quality, but I am tracelling so this will have to do.

 By: Alkiro1 : December 2nd, 2016-06:49
I know the importance of this PP for you... but this VC hummm. Really cool ;-) Best wishes Alkiro

Thank you, my friend.

 By: zabreg1 Mr White : December 2nd, 2016-08:00
The VC was a surprise present. Totally unexpected. Two days before I was playing with the chrono version and did not really like it mainly because of the size. But I absolutely love this one. The blue dial is lovely and goes from bright to very dark blue....

Very nice present. You're lucky ;-)

 By: Alkiro1 : December 2nd, 2016-08:12
Best wishes Alkiro

Yes, very much so.

By: Mark in Paris : December 3rd, 2016-07:44

Thank you, it is a great watch.

 By: zabreg1 Mr White : December 3rd, 2016-08:09
