Thank you, Amanico! Would you prefer to buy a choice created by your own or a standard proposition by the brand?
I think people already do this by virtue of strap changes.
With Rolex and other vintage watches you can change the personality of a watch going from bracelet to leather, distressted leather or to colorful Nato straps and so on. you don't need to go much further to give a new personality than a strap change. Bill

Bill, thank you very much for the response. What about modern brands like Richard Mille or Jacobs&Co? I’m doing a project about watches personalization for the uni and your opinion will be very of help.
The same is true. The easiest and most cost effective is strap change.
The other element more complicated is bezel inserts. This again can be designed for the user to change. Last is at the factory customization but now the cost is much higher to the mfg and user. Bill

Seiko's are great that there are so many aftermarket parts available. On the Sumo I changed to a ceramic full lume bezel. The Samurai got paddle hands. I came across the company Undone, not a great choice of a name, but some nice watches. Lots of choices ...
