Right.

Cheers, HSTE

From my side, that would be much more a choice by default. The Dual-Time has a too big date sub dial and an ugly and too big too AM/PM indicator. Regarding the chrono, the date window between four and five breaks the dial harmony

Why don’t you think about the 49150 (chrono with a big date at 12 and so a nicer dial layout for me) and the 47450 (better integrated dual time functions and indicators in my opinion)? If it’s because you love blue dials, the two later ones can have one. ...

The one on the right

Then again go for the older version big date and save yourself a lot of depreciation pain

Right preferred

I like the more 'open' dial, date wheel instead of window, and the GMT function, (albeit strange no 24hr numbers instead of 5 second numbers) Happy decision making! Best. G.

Both are Supercool. Between these two I prefer the Dual Time. However, if...

Budget not a Issue, I would go for the Overseas World Time. Probably one of the coolest watches around.

Thank U all.

Most of u edging towards the dual time. I haven’t seen it except in pics. Is the blue the same as the chrono ? If yes then I think the dual time better in terms of sizing etc.

I prefer the dual time.........

assuming they are the same size It has grown on me.. I have the time/date only and the chrono wears MUCH bigger and heavier, which is an issue for me with 6.75 wrists. It's probably just the photo, but the dual time looks better on your wrist to me.

I would go with the dual time too........

I tried the Chrono on and thought the watch was way too thick at almost 14mm's. Didn't try the dual time but the date only version fit my wrist much better. Tony

Since my last email to you, I have really begun to like the OS Dual Time. I know some people do not like the date subdial and AM/PM, but that in my opinion makes this watch so supercool...

I would be torn between the blue or white version. Sometimes the white with black leather strap can look awesome. And as a colour might age better than blue.

Neither

I would opt for the 4500V/110A-B128. Much more timeless.

One question to ask yourself

You should be able to choose once you've asked your self whether you want the watch for its functionality (complication) or aesthetics (assuming good wrist fit is already established). If you specifically want a chronograph function or a GMT, that decides...

Whichever you end up choosing, just make sure you don’t pay retail as the deals on the Overseas models are great! [nt]

I bought a brand new generation 2 Overseas for the price of a Submariner, being some 40% discount from an actual Vacheron Constantin AD on the East Coast. Box, papers, full warranty, everything!

Thanks Alex.

Don’t think anyone is offering that much on the gen 3

Brand-new with box, papers, full warranty at 20-30% off from a reputable seller is feasible.

Honestly, I love Vacheron but their pricing is borderline delusional.

Vacheron

I own the chrono but I love them both. I think the GMT is thousands less so I'd probably buy that because they are both so stunning. I think you will find the blue dial not discounted much. The watch is as good a sportswatch as you can buy. The build qual...

one on right... dual time

I can't understand V-C not matching the numerals in the date window to the color of the dial. To me, it's barely ok to include the date at 4:30 but to have black numerals with a blue-, or brown dial, is just "off" and a silly cost savings, especially cons...
