I make it a point to visit the Ulysse Nardin website every few weeks at longest, as things just tend to appear... how about these new Freaks!!  Sailcloth straps, reasonable price points... WOW, one of these will sink me.

Adding steel to subtract weight and expense makes sense. It's nice to see UN putting some muscle behind a flagship line and offering to meet collectors in the middle with respect to price. It's refreshing in this era of brand equity pullbacks and price-po...

Perhaps....

I allways like the Freak but there prices where a bit to high for me , maybe they are within reach now . The blue would be my choice then

They’re all absolutely gorgeous with all these different liveries and, as I already said here, if I own one UN one day, that will be a Freak without any doubt.

If the entry price is much reasonable, it’s very very interesting for me 🤔 Best wishes Alkiro

Thanks for the heads my!

I really like the black except that the case is DLC rather than ceramic. Kudos to UN for this (price) breakthrough.

Nice new versions.

I'm glad to see the prices going down, and the new straps look great, but at 45mm is completely out of the question for me. I love the movements, though. Thanks for sharing. Vte

Best"novelty " from UN this year..

Finally someone mentioned it...this could be wearable even for me,light and cool...the titanium has a sandblasted finish which makes it very appealing. Most of all.....did you hear the price?mmmmm its a bit tragic but very affordable... Mo

Exactly.... I wonder how much ..

They are directly on the UN website, $48,000 USD.

Suggested retail price.

I’m of mixed emotions. The watches are very attractive. I would chase #2 or 3. The price is still above the introductory price but still more “reachable”.

That said I am a bit disappointed that UN is going to the black version - bending a knee to the kitschy fashion (imho). Also the Freak is such a special piece I think that it should be housed in precious metal. I think that titanium or steel housing cheap...

Surely a few different ways to look at this new offering.

We can all agree that the mechanism is so spectacular that the Freak is "worthy" or perhaps best cased in a "noble" material like gold or platinum. On the flip side, the design has always been so technical, so audacious - why not house it in a material th...

So true, Mitch. Mentally I am there...

Financially, I'm focused on another endeavor. But this new Freak suits me, I hope one day to join the club!

+1 [nt]
