Being a Liverpool supporter, I am just overjoyed that Mo Salah has been awarded the accolade that he deserves even though Liverpool did not win the league.

As a neutral, it’s been fun to watch. I remember his Chelsea and early Roma days when his game was only speed and dribbling.

It is too bad Barcelona were knocked out, otherwise we could have potentially seen Messi v. Salah. But then there is the World Cup also for great excitement to come!!!!

I think goals to total shots was something closer to 25% which is still really impressive. (These were for EPL only). He definitely had one of those seasons where confidence builds so much so early on that he walks out there pretty much knowing he will sc... 

I know that the general average is similar to baseball where a .300 hitter is good even if he is failing 70% of the time or in basketball with 3-point shooting when 40% is considered excellent.

62% of shots on target which has resulted in 31 goals! But I think it is his 9 assists that really stand out among the top scorers indicating what an unselfish player and good passer of the ball he is

I agree, he seems to be going against the grain a little although he's going against it in a very "out there" way based on these two observations (Freak and Urwerk). Would love to know more of the story behind these purchases as they are off the run so to...
