No discussion on this one? Ulysse Nardin Classico Paul David Nardin

This particular UN caught my eye. Simple, but appears to be a very well finished dial that is slightly convex (think Junghans Max Bill). Applied numerals are cleanly polished with some bevels, and the pencil hands appear finely done with even their centre hubs bevelled and polished. Shame about the date window though...and no clear caseback for movement. Case appears to be relatively thin, but thick bezel and domed sapphire?
Anyone have other pictures of this one? I find it quite...intriguing.
Maybe its just the pencil hands. I really love watches with simple pencil hands (no lume) done right like this, but I find them hard to come by...

However, I do not know how thick it is. I really wish it has a display back... Would be incredibly desirable to my eyes Regards, skyeriding ...

Fantastic
So, I believe the consensus here is it'd be great without the date

Its a shame really - one of many watches that'd be so much nicer without the (unnecessary) date, especially for something that appears to be vintage-y. At least, they gave it a circular date window instead of rectangular... I'd love to hear if there are o...

to seeing this in person, notwithstanding the date. It is uncommon to find a good new watch that can be dressed up or down. This might be it. Curious to hear Nicolas' observations from SIHH and his personal contact with it... Even if it looks great in per...
Love this one

I would go for a steel stud at 6 and kill the date window, but regardless of the UN design choices I could definitely live with this one. Great throwback style and very wearable. Let's hope word reaches UN but I also appreciate they need to consider a bro...

He in turn called his UN sales rep and was told: The UN classico Paul David Nardin is not a limited edition per se, but UN is restricting the number of these being made, and does not say/know how long they will continue to be made. My local dealer told me...

This to me could have been an excellent three hander as I love everything about it but the date unfortunately. The case side profile with screwed on plate, the beautiful pencil hands, beautifully polished arabic numerals... Regards, Skyeriding
