I would suggest making her a watch.
As you can see, it works.

If I must say so myself, this watch has turned out even better than I had imagined.
The black mother-of-pearl isn't really that black and goes perfectly with the black planed galuchat band and 18k gold case.

It has taken a long time, I started last December, but it has been lots of fun and now worth every minute.
For the record, that which took the longest was cutting the glasses. Or more properly, learning how to cut glasses.
I still have a big pile of rejects cluttering up my bench. But it is worth it when things turn out right. And now I know how!

Special fun was making screws in 18k gold to screw down the back.
Now I am getting ready for the next watch.
It will be a departure from my 2 axle style.... it will have 3 axles!
